What do you love most about the ocean?: The smell

What would you like everyone to know about you?: I'm an organizer ;)

Lets see...I'm majoring in film in hopes of becoming a screenplay writer and/or a director. I love reading, writing, and painting. My favorite place to hang out is the beach. I have three younger siblings. A stay at home mom who home shools us and a dad who is in the army. I have two cats. An older one named Ruby (who's my best buddy) and a six month old kitten named Trixie (Ruby hates her).

My favorite moves are the Hannibal Lector movies and an assortment of old and foreign films. My favorite books are the classics. Jane Austen and Emily Bronte are in my top list of favorite authors. Pluss I'll read whatever lame teenage fiction my sister brings home because I have a slight problem with procrastination. I'm getting over it though.

Video Assignment (M/W class)

Hey everyone! I'm in the Monday/Wednesday class and am looking for partners for the video project. I'm a film student and have been debating going into documentary film so this is a good opportunity to test the waters (no pun intended).

For the record, I’m not an extreme “don’t eat the sea kittens” person. I actually think that campaign is kind of lame. What if a person doesn’t like kittens? That’s getting off topic though…I’m all for bala… Continue

In Which I learn something new

This weekend I watched Discovery’s Planet Earth series about the ocean. Besides seeing some freaky looking creatures (really awesome though), I learned something new. Sand Dollars (those things I used to love collecting when I was little) are sea urchin skeletons. I didn’t even know there were flat sea urchins. Go figure. I love the Discovery channel… Anyway, the Sea Star (Not star fish…my high school biology teacher was really scrict when it came to their proper name) ate them. It was carnage.… Continue
